Sedation Dentistry
If you suffer from anxiety or are undergoing a more extensive procedure, we offer several sedation options that can help you feel at ease. In most cases, Dr. Polidori will recommend oral sedation or nitrous oxide. However, he can also provide intravenous (IV) sedation for more complex cases.
TMJ Disorder Treatment
Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder is characterized by jaw pain, headaches, neck stiffness, and a clicking noise when you open your mouth. With advanced training treating TMJ disorder, Dr. Polidori often uses custom-crafted oral splints which realign your jaw to reduce pressure on your joints.
Root Canal Therapy
Root canal therapy is typically the most effective treatment for an infected tooth during which bacteria is removed and a crown is placed for protection. Thanks to modern techniques and effective local anesthesia, it involves little to no discomfort and ends the pain caused by dental infection.
Preventative Dentistry
Preventative care provided during biannual cleanings and exams is essential to protecting your oral health. Our hygienist will eliminate plaque and tartar from your teeth while Dr. Polidori will monitor your dental health using advanced digital x-rays and will conduct visual oral cancer screenings.
Pediatric Dentistry
At Colorado Premier Dental, we proudly treat kids age three and older. By beginning dental care early, we hope to prevent future problems and teach young patients good oral hygiene habits. We also offer fluoride treatments and sealants which can strengthen teeth and help prevent future decay.
Periodontal Surgery
If you have irritated, inflamed gums, you may be suffering from gum disease. Severe cases may require gum grafting or another surgical procedure. Periodontal surgery can have cosmetic benefits as well, such as when small amounts of tissue are removed to improve an uneven gum line or a gummy smile.
Oral Surgery
As a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Dr. Polidori can perform numerous types of oral surgery. Before placing implants, he may recommend bone grafting or tori removal to improve your treatment results. He can also perform complex and routine wisdom tooth extraction.
