Dental anxiety can stand between patients and the care they need. Our Lakewood, CO, office takes measures to ensure all our clients are as comfortable as possible. We offer three different forms of conscious sedation:
Nitrous Oxide
Also known as laughing gas, this form of conscious sedation allows you to be awake, but comfortable and relaxed during your dental work.
Oral Conscious Sedation
By simply taking a pill, we can help you effectively manage your anxiety and achieve a deeper level of relaxation than nitrous provides. Our dentist will give you instructions on the dosage and when to take the medicine.
IV Sedation
IV sedation allows you to be semi-awake during your procedure, but also deeply relaxed in a state of twilight sleep. This can minimize your anxiety and make you feel like little or no time was spent in the chair. The level of sedation can be immediately adjusted to meet your needs.
